	PATH OF DARKNESS is a dark fantasy novel about an elven prince whose mother traded him to for immortality and his siblings' desperate attempts to bring him back. He’d had decades to contemplate his mother’s decision. If he had been in the same place, he might have been tempted to do the same thing to his heir, especially if that heir had not wanted to accept the crown. As a young bachelor, Johannon had wanted nothing to do with royalty, with responsibility, or with a shortened life span that the crown demanded. He had gotten what he deserved. The elf nodded slowly, then dropped into a low curtsy. “Forgive me, my lord. I had to be certain.” “Who are you?” he asked. He wanted to ask if she’d come to take him back, but decided against it. Perhaps she was being sent as a test from his mother. He would not risk any chance to get home. The woman rose smoothly. “My name is Elvarion. I am your sister.”
