	BATTLE HEALER is a fantasy novel about an innocent little sylvan fey who runs into Death and is saved. BRIEF EXCERPT: Nacie backed away as the demon fully materialized before her. He was red-skinned with black horns and blacker eyes. Long, curved fangs made it impossible for him to completely close his mouth and she imagined a forked tongue inside. He had pointed ears like an elf, but that was the only comparison she could make. His horns looked nothing like hers. Where hers were slight and dull-tipped, his were a finger-length tall and curved into sharp points. She’d never heard of anything like him, but the term demon-spawn came to mind. So, death truly did await her.
