AWARD NOMINATIONS 2009
Flash Me Magazine is proud to support the art of flash fiction and help authors receive the acknowledgement they deserve. This year we selected nominations for both the Pushcart Prize and the Micro Award.
Pushcart Prize:
The Pushcart Prize - Best of the Small Presses series has been published every year since 1976 and sets the standard of excellence for literary anthologies. Each year it invites nominations from small presses and presents over sixty of the best in the pages of their annual collections. To learn more, visit their website.
This year we nominated six stories:

"Morning Routine" by Wayne Scheer Feature Story for our twenty-fourth issue, published April 30, 2009.
"That Final Darkness" by Anthony Fuchs Published in our twenty-fourth issue on April 30, 2009.
"Tick, Tock. Swish" by Elyse Salpeter Published in our twenty-fifth issue on July 31, 2009.
"Hearing Angelina" by Kathleen Elizabeth Published in our twenty-fifth issue on July 31, 2009.
Micro Award:
The Micro Award is presented annually to a work of fiction written in English, not above 1000 words in length. To learn more, visit their website.
