ARTWORK: WHAT WE WANT
We are looking for fresh new digital artwork for our magazine. Every quarter we use one piece of digital artwork on the cover of our PDF magazine, and that coverart is also published online. We will most likely use one artist per year exclusively, and are looking for artists with a wide selection of digital artwork available to choose from.
To see what kind of artwork we like, check out our coverart for past issues below. The final coverart is produced by our staff, but we will send the final draft to the chosen artist for their approval prior to publication.
Coverart will be used on PDF issues, published online, and may also be used on CD jackets/covers, t-shirts, and other merchandise.
   
Coverart is nominated annually for the Preditors & Editors Readers Poll in several categories, including Magazine/Ezine Art. We placed #7 for 2007 with Elizabeth Tomcheck's coverart for Issue 16. We placed #6 for 2008 with Junior Mclean's coverart for Issue 20.

ART SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

Email a link to your web pages where artwork can be viewed to this email address.
Please include your legal name, your name as you want it published, your email address, and a short bio to be published if your work is chosen for our coverart. Submissions may be rejected without this information.
Please have the word ARTWORK QUERY in your subject. Emails received without the proper subject will be deleted as junk mail.
PLEASE NOTE: We will contact you only if your artwork is being considered for our magazine.
REGARDING REPRINTS: We do not care if your work has been published elsewhere, so long as you retain all rights.

PAYMENT |
|
We will pay artists $10 for each coverart picture used, as well as free copies of the PDF issues their work will appear in. All artists published in our magazine will have their names credited with proper copyright information, as well as having a link to their personal website. Payment will be sent upon receipt of a signed contract.
